Free guided city tours with La Línea en Ruta

If you're in La Línea and want to discover the city, the tourist office has launched a series of free guided sightseeing tours in Spanish and English, part of the programme known as "La Línea en Ruta". These tours will give you a fascinating insight into our city's history, cuisine and leisure options.

Tours available on “La Línea en Ruta”:

  • City centre: History, cuisine and leisure.
    Colonial villas, museums, squares, church, Calle Real (main street of the city), old Italian villa and municipal market (with ham tasting and time for shopping).
  • Fortifications: History and leisure.
    Tour of the ruins of Santa Barbara Fort, the Bunkers of Princess Sofia Park (visit inside one of them), the Murralla de Contravalación and the Comandancia Militar.
  • Flamenco: Culture and leisure.
    Visit to the permanent exhibition "La Cuadra de Juan Mesa", a major ethnographic, photographic, sound and documentary collection, covering flamenco singers such as Juanita Reina and Camarón, all closely linked to the city.
  • Pepe Cabrera bullfighting museum and bullring: Culture and leisure.
    One of the largest collections of bullfighting art in Spain. It features a host of graphic material, ironwork, bullfighting suits, bull heads, etc.
